hey guys, thanks for reading!

I've been trying to set up my sat for over a week now with luck what so ever, the problem is that i cannot get any quality when trying to position the dish, I've tried moving it in every direction , there is a clear line of sight , and i've been using the compass , but the quality only ever goes to the orange light for a second then dissapears back to red or not at all, the signal is always between 60-70.
I've tried resetting the box aswell but of course it still finds nothing on the search.
I have the dish pointed roughly at 146 deg SE (the compass aint to accurate with all the metal around) and tried with diffrent elevations.
the only thing i can think of is that because i'm on the 21st floor it may make a diffrence.
I'm living in Chengdu ,sichuan, China. I had the dish installed and working in Changzhou ,jiangsu, china before i moved.

any ideas or help will be muchly apprieciated.

I'd advice you to get a professional installer do it for you. Its hard to make any suggestions without seing the actual set up. Since you cannot get a signal, the problem could be the connectors, the coaxial, the alignment and as you said maybe the LNB or the unit itself or the configuration settings etc. Thats why you need someone there who knows how to install and troubleshoot it.
